Q- Do you have an airport pickup service?
A- No, we don't pickup from the airport. Our depot locations Australia wide are located close to an airport.

Q- Where do we camp at night?
A-We strongly recommend that you stay in a caravan (RV) park. Australia has an extensive network of caravan parks in all major tourist centres and in most towns. They offer excellent recreation facilities and of course have superb shower and toilet amenities. They also have provision for you to plug the vehicle into electricity. There is ordinarily no need to book ahead, even in peak periods. The approximate cost is $15 to $20 (Australian dollars) a night. Most national parks have areas set aside for camping. There are often shower and toilets, barbeques and picnic areas and of course national parks provide a scenic and peaceful place to stay at overnight. However these areas generally do not have facility for you to plug the vehicle into electricity. Because of local council laws you are not permitted to camp on the side of the road in the vicinity of towns. However outside the towns and in country areas it is generally allowed.

Q- How much do you charge for pickup or drop off after business hours and on weekends?
A- There is a set fee of $50 for late pickup and drop-off.

Q- Are there sleeping bags in station wagons?
A- Our station wagons come with all outdoor furniture like chairs and tables plus sleeping bags.

Q- Are any of your vehicles wheelchair accessible?
A-Sorry we don't have any vehicles with wheelchair access.

Q- Do I need international drivers license or any other special license to drive a motorhome?
A-No, You have to have a valid drivers license from your original country only.

Q- How much is the fuel in Australia?
A-Petrol (Gasoline) in Australia comes in unleaded and leaded grades, and is sold by the litre. Petrol and diesel fuel costs between $1.15 AUD and $1.60 AUD per litre and can be higher especially in country and remote outback areas.

Q- Can I drive your vehicle on unseal roads?
A-Only 4WD can be driven on unsealed roads.

Q- Do you have unlimited kilometers?
A-All our vehicles include unlimited kilmeters.

Q- Can I put a child seat on a 2 berth campervan.
A-Yes we can fit a baby seat in a 2 Berth campervan.

Q- Does the 2 Berth campervan come with a shower and toilet?
A-Some 2 Berth Campervans come with a shower and toilet. Most of the Motorhomes have shower and toilet.

Q- Can I cancel my second booking if I have multiple rentals with your company?
A-The standard cancelation policy applies if your multiple rentals are quoted on the standard rate on each individual rental. If you are under a package deal The booking deposit will not be refundable unless OZ Campervans receives written notification of a cancellation at least 28 days prior to the pickup date of the first rental.

Q- Does the campervan have a audio cassette player or is it just a radio?
A-All vehicles come with either Cassette player, or CD player. All 5 star vehicles include CD players.

Q- Thank you for your response to my query. Please can you indicate what is included in the hireage with regard to bedding and cooking facilities
A-All Campettes, Campervans, and motor homes apart from the BT vehicles include bedding needs such as doonas, pillows, and pillow cases, plus cooking utensils, ie. cooking pans, plates, forks, knives etc...

Q- How long does the battery system last?
A-The appliance battery system will last approximately 12 hours when fully charged. The batteries only recharge when you drive the vehicle. Since the engine battery is separate, if you flatten one of the rear batteries, you will still be able to start the engine and drive. All vehicles have the facility to plug into electricity. When you plug into electricity in a caravan park all accessories automatically run off 240V electricity rather then the batteries. You can then use appliances such as the television, microwave and rear airconditioning that only run off electricity.

Q- Do I need a special driver's license?
A-A valid current car driver’s license is to be produced for everyone intending to drive the vehicle on the tour. State, Overseas or International Licenses are acceptable. However, the license must be in English characters for our staff to read.
